Eligibility and selection criteria

The Signify Foundation’s mission is to enable underserved communities to access the benefits of sustainable lighting. To be eligible for approval, please ensure your project proposal falls within the scope of one of our three strategic pillars and aligns with our selection criteria:

1. Brighter Learning: providing lighting for rural schools, playgrounds, sports facilities,  children’s homes.
2. Brighter Health: providing lighting for health centres and clinics.
3. Brighter Living: providing lighting for informal settlements, refugee settlements, remote villages, and disaster and conflict affected communities.

Application process

We accept applications on a rolling basis. All projects follow the standard Signify Foundation process.
